Theres a big price difference between the GT and srt8. You get near SRT8 performance for alot cheaper if you go the GT route. The challenger is a good looking car tho

Kid go back and read the stats on the camaro ss. SRT8 and camaro ss basicly have the same HP but camaro is lighter by 200-300lbs. dont take my word for it, check any magazine on camaros test, its quarter mile is around 13seconds flat.

0-60 in 5.5 seconds what that hell ..my 2006 mustang gt when it was fully stock with 300 crank hp did that ..now with a cold air intake and a tune coupled with Flowmaster 40, series exhaust .i'm at 5 seconds

the reason why there is not a comparison video of the srt8 vs ss is because GM is scared, dodge is going to whip there ass!

Right on, Penguin...you speak the truth. My 6.1 Hemi has no trouble blowing the doors off the new Mustang GTs, and the Eurofruits who swear by BMW don't know how to drive anyway (ever drag race a Benz or BMW, anyone? I think not! Too busy worrying about opera tickets), so anyone turning in 13.80 timeslips at the local strip needs a few lessons in holeshotting. Just ask the guy who traded in his Steeda Mustang for a REAL musclecar...one test drive was all that it took. Can I get an AMEN?

I'm not a Chrysler fan, but this is not a bad car.
The article attached to this video says 0-60 in 5.1s and a 13.2s 1/4, those aren't bad numbers.
I'm a Ford fan and the new 4400# SHO does 60 in 5.2s, and that's a full size family sedan.

Yea, I never got into the Mazda cars, they are a totally different animal. Figuratively and literally. I don't know, the Challenger has been said to be the slowest in acceleration of the modern muscle cars now. It's really between the Mustang and Camaro now I believe, but the Challenger is still a beautiful car. I got to sit in an SRT8 and it really is a man's car. >:)

Correct. Very well said. Leave the hybrids, electric cars and four banger eco-safe go-green grocery getters for the candy asses and Al Gore handshakers. This is MOPAR we are dealing with here...Cars built to kick some ass and deal a reality shock. I am a Dodge salesman, and I have personally RUBBED OUT Mustang GTs on test drives...sells the car EVERY time.
